Antal International is named as the 'International Recruitment Company'
In a glittering awards ceremony held in London’s Canary Wharf complex global multi-specialist management and professional recruitment firm Antal International was named as “International Recruitment Company of the Year” at the Recruitment International Awards 2010.
Founded in 1993, Antal International is a multi-discipline specialist executive recruiter with a global network of over 70 offices in 30 countries spanning from Asia throughout continental Europe, Middle East and Africa. The company beat off competition from companies such as Hays, Michael Page and Randstad to win the award at what is regarded as the ‘Oscars’ of the recruitment industry.
According to David Head, president of the judging panel, “In our opinion they are quite simply  the best pioneers of new territories and a truly international business.”
In addition to winning the International award, Antal was also nominated in the Most Admired Recruitment Company category and its CEO and Founder Tony Goodwin was among the CEO’s short-listed for the RI Entrepreneur of the Year, which follows on from the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur (London Regional) of the Year award that Goodwin won two months ago.
Recruitment International who staged the awards publishes the industry’s leading monthly magazine dedicated to the international recruitment and staffing market, along with regular specialist research reports, industry networking events, including the annual World Leaders in Recruitment Conference and provides consultancy in mergers and acquisitions.
Speaking as he collected the award Antal’s Group Managing Director, Graeme Read thanked the judging panel and Recruitment International’s Editor David Head and paid tribute to the work done by the Antal team across the globe saying “This award is for all those in the Antal team globally who every day go above and beyond for their clients and candidates, this is for you and because of you.”
The award comes towards the end of another successful year for Antal International that has seen the brand reach new heights and witnessed impressive growth in all its geographic locations including the opening of additional offices during 2010 in Singapore, Germany, India and the United Kingdom.

Antal International’s latest quarterly hiring survey, the Antal Global Snapshot endorses Goodwin’s enthusiasm for the year ahead showing an upturn in hiring expectations amongst most of the 52 countries surveyed.
